We have again been lucky enough to receive a visitor from our partner school in Malawi, his name is Arnold Msandivute. We welcomed Arnold into our school so he could begin to understand our culture, how our children learn and how our children’s education is different from the children he teaches in Malawi.
He has been with us for a whole week with accommodation gratefully provided by our staff Mr Hollis and Mr Gale. The experience has been fantastic for all involved especially for the children who loved learning about Malawi from Arnold first hand.
Arnold had a very busy stay which included attending a conference at Framingham Earl High School, visiting St Edmunds Church, he also went on a Day trip to Cromer where he saw the lifeboat launching and had fish and chips. Arnold was also involved in our classrooms during his stay, getting the chance to work closely with the children which he found extremely valuable.
The staff and children were sad to see Arnold go but are looking forward to who may visit from Malawi next summer in 2016. We would also like to thank the British Council and the Norwich-Dezda Partnership for helping make these valuable exchanges possible.
